It is a subsidiary company meaning it has lots of different companies inside of it, for example Universal Animation Studios Focus Features, Illumination Entertainment Working Title Films, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and United International Pictures.
Some of Universals top blockbusters include : Jaws (1975), E.T. the extra-terrestrial (1982), Jurassic park (1993), Despicable me 2 (2013), Fast and furious 7 (2015) and Jurassic world (2015) all of which achieved box office records, with the first three (directed by Steven Spielberg) all becoming the highest-grossing film at the time of its initial release.
